Each region would have its own traditions Huanglo one of them is the village that could be considered unique because in this village all the women are required to have long hair.
For her hair is a part of a crown  but the Yao tribe in the village Huanglo, hair has a symbol that exceeds it. For their hair to be the most valuable symbols that describe the honor and welfare. So do not be surprised if you find all the women in this tribe has a super long hair.

Huangluo village located in Guilin Longji area. There are at least 82 heads of families living in the village. Most of them still hold the value of ancestral traditions and life is full of simplicity.
Almost the same as other natural traditional villages, landscapes, beautiful environment and ancient cultures regarded to be its own attraction for the tourists who come from outside the region or abroad. But the thing that most attracted them is the tradition of the women who are obsessed lengthen the hair until it hits the ground.

A reputation that makes this village dubbed "the village long hair '. In fact, they received official recognition from the museum world record Guinness World Record as the 'Village The Longest Hair'.

For the record, the average length of the hair of the woman who was there was 1.7 meters. While the longest can reach 2.1 meters.

In the past, or rather before the year 1987, the tradition in Huangluo not allow others to see their hair loose except my husband and children. In other words, every citizen is required to roll the hair and the women wear head coverings.

And if there are other people who accidentally saw their hair, then that person should be appointed in-law and lived for three years. But this rule is removed and finally they were free to show their hair at any time.
