Cenote is a lake in the Maya language. With this, the cenote Sagrado sacred lake means (sacred). This lake in the north of Chichen Itza, Mexico.

The ancient Mayans considered this lake is the representation of Chac, the God of Rain. Many districts in Mexico which is decorated with holes cenotes, underground disposal of natural-and Maya believe that some of the site is visited by Chac own. As a result, some Cenotes revered as sacred for offerings, and sacrifices, while the others were excluded for bathing, drinking, and water plants.

One of the most important of the sacred spring is cenote Sagrado, which is located near the archaeological site of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula. Made from a natural limestone cave, with the sides of steep stretches along 60 meters above the water line, this cenote is specifically used for rituals and sacrifices.

Crater Lake is a lake located in the Cascade Mountains, Oregon, United States. Crater lakes are formed from the Mazama volcano erupted in approximately the year 4680 BC.

Formed nearly 8,000 years ago after a massive eruption that allegedly caused the eruption of Mount Mazama, freshwater lakes are clear blue deepest lake in the United States. Is the seventh deepest lake in the world at the same time.

Native American tribes, Klamath, has long regarded the lake as a sacred site. Their legends say that Mount Mazama exploded because of a battle between man and man the Earth's sky.

Located in the highlands of Guatemala and is bordered by three volcanoes, Lake Atitlan is the deepest lake in Central America. This lake has a depth of up to 340 meters.
The lake is formed from a volcanic eruption 84 000 years ago. In the vicinity there is a coffee plantation and corn.

Mount Sinai is a mountain located in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. 2285 meter high mountain ranges and located in the south of the peninsula.

Some of the beliefs and religion stories to believe this place is the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. Although there is no sufficient evidence corroborating archeology, Christian monks founded several monasteries in the area.

Today, visitors can visits Monastery of St. Catherine at the base of the mountain. Then climbed to the top, there is a small chapel of the Holy Trinity which presents a beautiful view at sunrise.(okezone)
