Rotorua is a city on the southern edge of Lake Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty region, North Island of New Zealand. The city is famous for its hot springs baths are spectacular. However, the tourists seemed to be little disturbed by odors that seem to smell like rotten eggs. That is because the hydrogen sulfide emissions from the geyser. Because the sulfur smell was terrible, Rotorua is also known as "Sulphur City". (Taken from any sources)
