Karen Black of the University of New South Wales said the creature was formerly known as Nimbadons a climber who lives in the canopy of the rainforest 15 million years ago, as quoted by UPI.

"Nimbadon is a very agile climber and his anatomy suggests, these animals climb with similar methods of modern koala," he explained. These capabilities help these animals get food competition from other animals.

The investigators found a skull in a cave in Nimbadon Riversleigh in Queensland, Australia.

"Fossils of this finding is a material that is very rare and important because it not only saved properly, these fossils represent each individual age," he said. (Taken from any sources)
