Mount Tambora is administratively located in Bima, Sumbawa Island, and is geographically located between: 8o - 25 degrees latitude and 118o - 00 degrees east with a height of between 0-2851 masl.
The mountain is the highest mountain on the island of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Mount Tambora area is divided into two conservation sites which are: North Tambora Wildlife Reserve with an area of 80,000 hectares and South Tambora Hunting Park with an area of 30,000 hectares.
Basically a mountain as high as 2851 meters above sea level is indeed a field pretty extreme and dangerous enough, but many climbers demand. The mountain is promising a different mountain riding experience, physical ability climbers tested for 3 days 2 nights to conquer Mt Tambora.
Additionally the climbers are still tested with the sort of extreme route. You are required to track tens of kilometers, mostly wavy. Not to forget the large holes of a challenge for the climbers.
